Your wedding is important to me.

I understand there is so much to think about on your special day and the last thing you need to worry about is a difficult wedding photographer.

It's your day, not mine. I will do exactly what you ask me to do although of course I can offer suggestions based on my experience if you need some advice. Your wedding is unique and I will treat it as such. I don't have a set template to follow, I go with the flow, take the pictures you want and fit in however suits you best.

I'll be your perfect wedding guest – I'm easy going, friendly and chilled out and deliver beautiful, contemporary wedding photography that you will treasure forever. The images I produce are high quality, fun, creative, modern and (at times) quirky.

Wedding photography – What happens when?

Initial briefing session
If you want to have a chat to find out if I'm the right wedding photographer for you, give me a bell, send me an email or text, Facebook or Tweet me. We can arrange to meet up – I'm happy to come to your home or meet you in a café, pub... anywhere that we can get a cup of tea! We can discuss your wedding plans, I'll bring examples of my wedding albums and we can talk through any questions you might have.

Pre-wedding shoot
Wouldn't it be lovely to have some extra pictures of the two of you at a special place that has real significance to you both as a couple?

The pre-wedding shoot takes place a few months before your big day and it could be anywhere you want – indoors or outdoors. No matter where you choose, I'll bring my camera, you bring yourselves – we'll have a laugh and get some great shots. You get used to being in front of the camera, we have a brew (yes, another one, I told you I liked tea!) and chat about your big day in more detail.

Recce
If I'm unfamiliar with your wedding venue, don't worry: I'll arrange to pop over and have a recce before your wedding day, speak to who I need to and discover the special places which will become the backdrop to some amazing pictures.

Countdown to the big day
I understand how stressful planning your wedding can be so, from our first meeting to the delivery of the final album, I make a point of always being easy to contact. Whether you get in touch via the phone, email, Twitter, Facebook or text, I'll always get back to you as soon as possible to answer any questions.

The big day itself
I'll be there early as early as you need me and I'll stay late as you want me! We'll have discussed your wedding timings beforehand so you can be sure I'll always be in exactly the right place. The focus of the day itself is all about you. I take care of the photos, you take care of enjoying yourselves and I promise I won't boss anyone around or get on anyone's nerves.

Honeymoon
You'll be glad to hear I won't follow you there! You just relax and enjoy it and I'll be working hard on your pictures, ready for your return.

Viewing
I'll send you a slideshow and high resolution images to view three weeks after your wedding. Once you've seen them, the pictures will be uploaded to a password protected online gallery which can be accessed by your guests who can order any pictures they might want online.

Album
After you've chosen your favourite images, I can design an album layout for you. Once this is done, I'll send the proofs through to you. You will get the chance to make any amendments you need before the album design is finalised – it will be treasured for a lifetime after all – better to get it right! It will then take around four weeks for your bespoke, handmade album to be produced.

  How long will you be at my wedding day?

  I'll stay as long as you want me to. I'm happy to cover the morning preparations and stay until the last guest leaves the dance floor.

  Does it cost extra for you to stay longer?

  No. I'm here to cover your wedding celebrations and to capture the whole story. I'm not going to disappear as soon as the party begins! All my packages include full coverage.

  When can I view the images?

  I aim to have your pictures ready to view within three weeks of your wedding day.
• 
  Will our guests be able to view the images?

  Yes, but I always make sure the bride and groom get to see them first. After you've had chance to check them out, the images will be put online on a password protected site and prints can be ordered.

  How far will you travel to photograph weddings?

  I will travel anywhere to shoot a wedding. If it's more than fifty miles from Brighouse (nr Huddersfield and Halifax), West Yorkshire, I will have to charge for travel and accommodation costs.

Prices

I like to keep things simple and straightforward so I have developed just two wedding photography packages for you to choose from. I have taken the inspiration for their names from one of the big loves of my life - tea! I am happy to tailor these by adding some additional items on an individual basis - please drop me a line to discuss.
