Let's face it. Generic plain white backgrounds are not the best way to showcase the true personality of your family. How often do you jump around in front of a white background in your day to day lives? I want to photograph your family having the time of your lives in your spiritual home, wherever that is. I understand – I'm a family man who loves the outdoors.

So, get your creative juices flowing. Think of a location where your family can really let loose, have fun and be themselves. Will it be mountain biking together in the great outdoors? Splashing about in puddles with your dogs? Playing games in your living room? Invite me into your world and let me capture these precious moments for you to treasure forever.

  How long will a shoot take?

  I treat each shoot completely differently so there is no set session length but a couple of hours is about average.
• 
  Where will the shoot take place?

  Anywhere you want. The best images are taken when you and your family feel comfortable and relaxed and can genuinely enjoy yourselves. Everyone has a special place that really means something to them so let's go there! The world is your studio and we are so lucky to have Yorkshire on our doorstep with all that it offers – how about the beach, the countryside, paddling in a stream or huddling around hot chocolate on your sofa at home?

  What should we wear?

  Wear the clothes that you feel most comfortable in. The aim is to show you as you really are, in all your glory! We all have an individual style and these sessions are designed to celebrate that. Why not bring a change of clothing – it will give the pictures you select a really different look.

  Do you use a white background?

  I do have one but I try to avoid using it. The idea of our dynamic lifestyle shoots is to get stunning images of you and your family in a relaxed environment that really means something to you. The great outdoors is the world's largest studio and it lends itself to creative and fun pictures that are completely unique to your family.
• 
  How far will you travel?

  I will travel as far as you need me to but, for portraits outside a 50 mile radius of Brighouse (nr Huddersfield and Halifax), West Yorkshire, I ask for 40p per mile towards travelling expenses.

  How much does a session cost?

  A photoshoot costs just £200 which includes the high resolution images from the shoot on disc.
• 
  What products do you have available?

  A huge selection and I have spent lots of time doing my research to make sure the products I offer are the best quality products on the market. The range includes coffee table albums, bevel edge prints, chunky canvases, framed photographs and acrylics. Please check out our products page for more details.

Prices

We'll spend at least two hours together during the session to make sure we get the best places, shots and eventually images possible. I work hard on a shoot to find the best locations and lighting for each individual picture. A session like this costs £200 which not only includes the two hour photography session but also all the magic that goes on in my studio in between – the specialist editing that gives your pictures that extra wow factor that will take your breath away. A disc of high resolution images from the shoot is also included in the session fee.
