Weddings
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and my mission is to capture the emotions, stories and memories of your special day as it unfolds. My reportage style of photography enables me to document your wedding unobtrusively. I understand that each wedding is different and that many hours of planning have gone into your special day. I will endeavour to capture the details that make your day unique.Before the day
I include a pre-wedding shoot in my package to give us the chance to get to know each other, and to give you the opportunity to get used to being in front of the camera. The emphasis is on having fun in a relaxed environment, the end result being a set of stunning images.
I have found that the secret to successful wedding photography is planning. We will meet a couple of weeks before your wedding day to discuss any particular shots that you are after and for me to gain a good understanding of how your day will pan out. As my packages include full coverage from start to finish, I can document the bride and groom preparations through to the evening party if you wish.
The big day
I will document the day comprehensively and with minimal fuss. I will already know what shots are essential and who the key people are, leaving you to enjoy yourselves and relax with your guests. I understand the importance of family formals but recognise the need to complete these swiftly. I would hope to spend 15 minutes ‘quiet time’ with the bride and groom to capture some stunning images, something a bit different. I will be there for the rest of the day documenting the story in full.
After the wedding
We will have discussed your viewing date beforehand. I will aim to have all your photos processed and ready to view upon your return from honeymoon, either at your home or on your personal password protected online gallery. Either way, you will be the first to see them. You can then take your time to decide which pictures you would like to select for your album.
